Elliot Clogg

Who is Elliot and what is his swimming background?

Elliot has been swimming competitively since the age of 9. For the majority of his swimming career he has trained at the City of Sheffield but has now made the transition to the Loughborough National Centre under the coaching of Mel Marshall.

In 2018 Elliot qualified for the Commonwealth Games to represent England at only 18 years of age, he received 2 silvers medals for his participation in the relay heats of the 4x100 freestyle relay and the 4x100 medley relay. After these performances he was also selected for the European Championships which were held in Glasgow later that year.

Although Elliot has picked up international medals in freestyle, he is typically more of a backstroke swimmer with his best time being 1.57 for 200 backstroke long course.
